Garrett co-founded The Kiva Center based on a passion to offer a different kind of education that helps children illuminate their gifts in the presence of nature. Garrett leads children to investigate their inner and outer worlds, and how they are interconnected. Garrett has a passion for primitive tools, gardening, edible and medicinal wild plants, playing the flute, dance, and travel.
