Aaron Estevez-Miller

Greater Denver Area
Aaron Estevez-Miller is a current candidate for an M.S. in Finance at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Growing up in a Colorado family where backpacking, fly fishing, and snowshoeing were favorite weekend pastimes, environmental conservation has always been one of his core values. Combined with a passion for policy and politics, Aaron's outdoor upbringings led him to seek opportunities for environmental activism in Colorado. He joined the Boulder chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) during the summer of 2015 and has served as a member of its Steering Committee ever since. As a CCL volunteer, Aaron advocates for revenue-neutral, border-adjusted, carbon fee and dividend legislation through outreach and educational efforts. He received his B.A. with majors in Economics and International Affairs and a minor in Leadership Studies in the spring of 2016. After finishing his M.S. in 2017, Aaron will travel to Indianapolis with Teach for America to teach Secondary English. When time permits, Aaron enjoys adventures, particularly those that span international borders, require SCUBA equipment, or involve motorcycles.
