Easy to Be Green Consulting
I focus on helping/consulting individuals, families and small business make environmental impacts in their communities by reducing waste, using non-toxic alternatives in cleaning, personal care products, organic gardening indoors and out and upcycling waste. It will provide education, referrals to local and organic living businesses and products, and hands-on workshops where customers can make their own non-toxic products without spending lots of money and time. This will promote local businesses and organic products, while reducing waste and individual and business carbon footprints. The goal is to live with the earth, while saving resources and improving quality of life.

Michele Melio, founder and sole proprietor of Easy to Be Green Consulting, has worked as an environmental educator for 8 years, organic farmer for 10 years and Zero Waste consultant, project manager and event planner for 6 years. Her experience includes technical writer of Cow Power for the State of Colorado, Green Living Examiner (citizen journalist) 3 years, volunteer for U.S. Green Building Council for educational events (1 year), solar technician certification through Adams County Workforce, volunteer in the Energy Smart program with Boulder County in promoting energy efficiency programs and currently managing an EPA grant for Eco-Cycle to make the Town of Lyons the first Green Star Town. She also manages all the Green Star Schools for Eco-Cycle/Boulder County.
