Asa Henderson has over 12 years experience working directly with teenagers and is currently the Director of the Men's Eagle Council, a Boulder-based organization that began facilitating rites of passage for young men in 1996 and has since shifted focus to The Journey to Manhood Online, and online resource that encourages young men to ask the important questions about who they are and who they want to become. He is a graduate of the Mankind Project's New Warrior Training and Melissa Michaels' Surfing the Creative international youth rite of passage, and holds two Bachelors Degrees from the University of Colorado in Film Studies and Film Production.
